Mine should be in the mail, kind of excited about this little book to see what treasures I am missing out on!
-
Thanks @Stoker for sending me here - seems I should get one of these - I have reached out! But I have a feeling I'll regret it - it will be like looking at the toy section in the old Sears catalog back when I was a kid circling "wants" for Christmas!
hmm, I better get two, one for circling things and one not to be marking up LOL

Received my copy a couple days ago. Sent email to Deborah at address above, and she sent a Paypal invoice a few days later. Took about a week to arrive. Wow, what a wealth of info in that book! A big THANK YOU to Deborah Castle, Sprintcars11, and anyone else that helped make this happen (and Don Stilson, of course!)

Books arrived today.
I am very pleased to have them.
Don was a friend of mine. In addition to carrying a wealth of knowledge and a deep reverence for history.... he was also the town historian for Hilton, NY.

I provided an address and paid by paypal as friend.
Ask her for a paypal invoice and e-mail your name and address.
I ordered 2 books.

I was contacted by Deborah Castle yesterday, and had a few back and forth emails with the last one being that they are looking into best payment options (check, paypal, etc) and will get back to me when they figure how best to proceed!

All,
I've been in touch with Deborah. She has been very busy working. She will respond to everyone soon! I have asked her if the books are marked as reprint, this is what she said:
The book is not marked as a reprint. One difference in the book is the original book has a black spine and this book has a white one. The other differences are: page 1 is on the inside laminated cover and page 108 which is titled "Notes" is on the laminated back inside cover.
Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to get back to the other people requesting a book and offer Venmo or sending a check.
Thank you!
Joe

I also haven't heard back from her.

Well, it is good news and bad news.
Some of us paid significantly more for the original publication (4x or more). :(
Sorry Charlie .... but First Editions of rare texts always demand a premium in the marketplace! ;c)
Will these be marked as re-prints? Or will there be no difference from the original?
I have no idea, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't some telltale differences to be observed.
Still haven't heard back from the contact that was provided and it's been about two days now I think.
