Half the fun of looking at your collection or steam room pics is looking at your beautiful home in the background 😍

A very beautiful room. I like the floor the most. A wonderful work.
It is the same Floor as in the Castle of Feldkirch Austria named: Schattenburg
My house is from 1721 - so it fits and looks great

They look great! Nice room too.
Thanks and congrats to your nice Maerklin - winner of May, Arnold
Thank you! I bought that engine several years back from the seller on German eBay that sells all the steam parts, Glueckskind / Happychild
Yes - I know "Glückskind" Jutta - she always has a lot of spares and engines too! She helped
me twice with original Chimney and Manometer.

That is a beautiful room, from the arches over the window, to the patterned hardwood floor.
From the cabinetry to the new casement windows, with a view of the neighborhood shops below.
What did you mean that sometimes you have to spend money on the house and not on steam engines.
Something tells me your not the type that really has to choose, just do it, and Arnold, you
do it right.
Thank you Thommy! ;D

Had to replace the windows in my steam room.
They were made in 1975 and were leaking and fogging up. Now I
have soundproof windows that are much better and isolated too -
sometimes you have to spend money for your house - not only steam engines
Cheers Arnold
