These are very nice.
I have a little Bischoff bipolar dynamo (or motor). I name it due to one shown in Heinrich Rehse's Katalog No. 77 with all the Bischoff engines and accessories he sold ca 1904. That said, there is no identifying mark on it so I cannot be certain of it's origin.
Is it similar to the large or to the short one above...?
Can you please post a pic of it...?
I have a short video of it here.
Enjoy,
Gil

Nice!
This seems to be a BISCHOFF or CARETTE Dynamo, producing 4-6 Volts ...
they usually also work as a Motor on 6-12 Volts DC.
Thanks!

Some time ago I got a 15x8xH8.5cm bipolar double shunt coil electric motor with 3-coil-anchor that runs at 4-8V DC.
It is very difficult to assign such motors to a steam toy supplier, as they were not manufactured by themselves, but purchased and labeled from manufacturers of elecric motors.
This type of motor was also built as short type and especially known as BING, but there the anchor shaft is guided by a screwed-on clasp and the cast iron stator shell lacks the heavy base and instead of the upper bevel it has a sloping roof ...
What do I have here now...?

My large one... BISCHOFF...?

Short type... BISCHOFF...?

BING... similar but different type
