Hello Walter,
I have often seen the Doll 70/8 in pictures. Sometimes, but rarely, they are offered on ebay. But then usually in a bad condition. I have never seen the model in Akltion. Therefore,
Thanks for the small demonstration!

Neat to see one working 8)

Walter I have to believe it found the exact right home to get the proper repairs it required, well done & thanks for showing.

Well done Walter!
Would have assumed that it was made from slightly thicker leather, like found in a bicycle pump or Petromax lamp.
The very pliable leather in glove is shaped to form a bucket and held inplace when it is pushed into the tube, then they work well; been doing since I was a child on flyspray for my mother...

I cut a new leather bucket from the back of a 'Riggers glove' Jan,
You might know where to get from the PPE locker...

Lovely toy, thanks for sharing Walter!
Certainly a first for me, seing one of these going.
Did you have to replace the piston, or does the original still seal sufficiently?
