Looks like it just came out of the box Arnold. :)
-
Arnold, you've done a wonderful job there that you can be very proud of.
-
Wow, that came out beautiful. :o To bad though, there's nothing left to do on it and
if you did decide to part ways with it, now I couldn't afford it. :'(
Sorry Tommy - it came out too good - so I probably keep it on my shelf... ;D

The restoration has already been completed - everything tidied up - reassembled - and to a high gloss polished! This is a real beauty now ...
enjoy Arnold
NB. The kettle had a bit of verdigris and had to be polished by hand. I always use Brasso (made in England) for this.

That is a beautiful engine, I remember seeing your other ones during your steam tour.

Congratulations, what an amazing addition!
Arnold did put in a bit of HA Augstburger info in his introduction thread here:

Thanks Jan for pointing out the "enlightenment"

Another impressive engine, Arnold!
You must know every single basement and/or attic in Switzerland by now... ;)
-
Another very nice looking engine Arnold.
-
Awesome Arnold.
I briefly had an HA Mobil that I traded to Nick.
I hope to find another one some day.

Hello Arnold,
I feel the same as Bruce. Very nice machine, but I know nothing about the manufacturer. Please enlighten us.
-
Lovely engine Arnold, this is a manufactured that I know very little about, but would like to.
-
Hi - as I already mentioned I got a Doll Drill Press today and it came together
with the Ha-Mobil Ship Steam Engine. The Boiler has a Gas Burner that is very
easy to handle. I just had to remove the dust - fill in water - steam Oil and
some light Oil for all bearings and it run... Unfortunately I already have this
model on the shelf - so I am not sure if I shell sell it? It needs polishing the
Boiler and some little paint job on the platform. I have made a little iphone video
Cheers Arnold
