Just sold it yesterday to a fellow wanting to buy a few engines from me before i took them to coolspring. I may have nothing to sell at the show at this rate, but i would rather be buying anyhow :)

Good to see you out of repair shop (shoulder) and into the repair shop ( engines).

So good to get you back in that shop Doug, been missing your updates from there.

What a neat little engine you´ve started out with, and it sure turned out to be a very nice runner :)

That's great Doug, and I'm glad you're back to all four functional appendages!

Warning though .... now that you've retired, you will likely find you somehow have even less time than before. Can't quite figure it out, but I know that it has proven true for me!

After a six month hiatus from the workshop, I finally have begun work on the accumulation of projects that collected while recovering from recent shoulder surgery.  This was first on my list, and after making a few parts and installing rings and a fuel tank, finding the right spring for the governor latch-out arm, and a few other adjustments, it's finally a runner!

This was an earlier Ebay purchase that, although it arrived needing work, I normally assume as much when I purchase any engine on Ebay, that the seller cannot provide a video of it running, and bid accordingly.  Several other projects awaiting are model dockyard-like engine, also an Ebay purchase, that needs a yoke made for the valve eccentric.  After that, another back burner project, a model Economy hit and miss engine that I purchased half-completed last fall.  This is a fairly rare and highly sought after engine, and I am really looking forward to completing this build.  Lastly, I have a Fairbanks-Morse Eclipse half-scale casting kit, which will be a complete start to finish build.  This would normally take me a year or more to finish all of these projects, but since I just retired.  I'm hoping to get to spend more time in the shop!
