It’s an old cattle shed and the dirt is very dry, but almost spongy... you kind of sink a little while walking on it. Of course it has been exposed to high humidity every summer for 40 years too

Seems odd to me that it would sink that badly if it had dried dirt beneath it, so I suspect that ground tends to get damp. I'd guess maybe $2k but what do I know?

I feel chuffed restoring a Mamod  ;D

I doff my hat to any and all who can bring a car like that back to life, I wouldn't know where to start.
You 1st start by going to the bank , then clean out a bay in the garage ...cause its gonna be there for awhile. Ya' Know Jim , a project car would be a good bonding experience for you and James 😉👍

Bruce I know how to open the petrol cap and put fuel in a car and put the key in and and turn it on :)

He's coming over tomorrow (Tuesday) after school to do a little more on the ferris wheel :)

Would the be car enthusiasts able to get this Mustang restored from the condition its in to drivable?

Grandfathers shed.......what a delight that would be poking around in :)

If it casts a shadow, it can be restored  :D

It is sunk into the dirt, and the only good thing it has going is that the dirt is dry. I can’t count the number of times they have told him to get rid of it.  :D

I’ll have to ask him about the engine next time I see him

What a beaut!!!

Unless it´s all filler and paint holding it upright, it certainly looks in way better condition than cars i´ve rebuilt in the past.
What is the value on these in the States these days?
I researched the value a little bit Jan, its so all over the place that I couldn't give you a good value, as it sits...now there are a ton of variables here, are most of the pieces there  ? does it have the correct engine ? what is the engine CI ? how rusty is the frame/body ...setting that low on a dirt floor ? does it have a title ? this particular year is not for me as I prefer pre 1970.

Yes, all parts are readily available (repo) if necessary,  depends on the amount of pieces that's left ,looks like alot of internal parts are missing.

I wonder what engine it was born with , could've had a 250ci six cylinder (doubtful) 302 , 351 (most likely) or 429, all V8's in 2 or 4 barrel configuration.

This is my uncles that he re-painted for prom, sometime early to mid-80’s. I cannot remember if it is a ‘71 or ‘72... He realized that he did a crappy/rushed job and was going to start over, but that obviously didn’t go to well  :D  I believe he still has the engine in another shed, not sure how many other parts are left...

Woocha...."White lightning 😄👍, appears to be a 1971-72 Ford Mustang fastback (doesn't appear to be a Mach 1) just about belly deep in the dirt , someone relieved it of its doghouse & lots of other parts, but Hey , it truly is a barn find. Nice memories Nick. I had 6-7 mustang before I turned 19yrs old & have a Convertible Mustang currently.
Thanks for taking the time to post this for me Nick , made my night 😊👍

I mentioned this one out in Grandma’s shed to Bruce awhile back and finally got some pictures. How many SPS creations can I trade it for?? 😂 😂
