Nice engine for the money!
For cheaper fuel, just go to Home Depot, Lowe’s, or whatever similar store you have locally and get a gallon or a quart of denatured alcohol.

The mail carrier brought a new toy from Engine DIY. An iteration of a Victorian era desk fan powered by alcohol.
The video is the very first run. After about ten minutes break in, it’s now ticking over about 650rpms, and has quieted a bit. The instructions called for a drop or two of light mineral oil in each cylinder. I used a scant drip of MMO in each. Fuel is 190 proof grain alcohol. The burner appears to have a permanent type fiberglass wick.
