I already have an identical one, so this one will be for sale at the next engine show to help support the hobby!

It took quite a bit of fiddling to get this engine started, but once everything was figured out, it starts easily and runs great!

Something I discovered with my first Maytag vertical was that you have to push some grease into the front bearings so that no air can be sucked in.  Being a two stroke engine, it will not run if any air can be sucked between the crankshaft and the bearing.  These are great old engines, that for being 100 years old, will generally run all day long!
