Title: Re: 1920s FALK 482/5 Overtype

Hello Rainer,

the machine you show there, which I think was offered quite cheap in 2018, is a Doll 312/6. The Doll 312/5 is on my shelf. Unfortunately without chimney and chimney mount. I am still looking for the parts.
The real counterpart is the 317 with fixed cylinder.
Had I noticed the offer at the time, I would have bid immediately. The condition of the machine is not bad.

In 2018 I saw this DOLL counterpart on ebay gone for €137, but it had an oscillating cylinder and the flywheels in front...

Congratulations, Rainer.

The machine is in wonderful condition. One does not find so often at an affordable price. I myself am looking for the counterpart of this Falk machine, a Doll 317/3 or 317/4. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to find a machine in the same condition.

All good things come in threes... !
... and so last week a FALK 482/5 Overtype from the 1920s joined BING Vertical and FLEISCHMANN Beam...

With the exception of a small dent on the 3in boiler, the FALK is in very nice restored condition and runs perfectly with compressed air.

The wrong chimney will be replaced soon as the correct one is already available for delivery from a friend of a friend...
