I never met or communicated with Trevor.  However I must say it is great he has left such a legacy of memories in the form of artifacts that those can relive Trevors essense through.  Prayers for his family and friends hoping they push through these rough times realizing how many people Trevor touched through steam and his obvious and apparent amazing charactor.

Rest Well Trevor.

G'day everyone, I spoke with Trev's wife Lorraine on the phone this morning and passed on condolences and have given Lorraine and family the link to this thread which they were so happy to know that Trev was so respected.

Very sad news indeed.

First Geoff and now Trev.

Two mates from the same town who were both great people and talented craftsmen.

I have bought a number of engines from Trev over other last four years as well as a number of accessories.

I have a new Ploughing Engine from him that I have not even shown yet.  I have been working on a set up for a video for it, but I have not yet filmed it.

Here is an old “family portrait” that I took in March 2018 and I have since added a couple more engines and one of his stamper mills (which is one of my favorite accessories).

And here is a video I made in September 2018 of a Trevstoybox TTB V3 No. 1 driving an Ernst Plank windmill and Pump that I bought from Geoff.

RIP Trev.  RIP Geoff.

Trev will be sadly missed.  He was an innovative , talented and kind man.
I purchased this pair of "Australian gold ore stampers" just 7 months ago from him.

This is indeed profoundly sad news. I remember him as a gentleman and a craftsman who took great pride in his work.

Thanks, Nick, for sharing this. It is clear his family clearly thought the world of him, loved him very much, and will miss him even more.

I am blessed to have just one of his marvelous creations.

My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I did not know Trevor personally. I could only admire his models on the internet. But it is not enough to reduce a person to his hobbies.

He must have been a wonderful person, who will not only be missed by his family.

Sorry, in haste I obviously misinterpreted a bit there - but condolences to his family nevertheless, and all who knew him, wish I had.........

Just read this sad news on facebook

With a heavy heart, we are sad to announce that my Dad Trevor Woolan (1944-2021) passed over peacefully last Thursday due to complications from a heart infection.
Beloved Father of Peta Woolan, Natalie Shanahan and Andrew Woolan. Loyal husband of Loraine Woolan. Father-in-Law of Jeremy Shanahan and Samara Woolan, and loving Pa to Lachlan, Patrick, Jack, Lily and Grace.
Trev was a well respected, intelligent, selfless and introspective man who never missed the daily Herald Sun crossword.. and was always up for a beer and a chat. He was a hard working Heyfield lad who loved his boy’s toys, vintage cars, boats, motorbikes, footy and cricket.
A talented craftsman, Dad spent most of his days in his workshop and he could turn his hand at almost anything. In his retirement years he enjoyed making and selling internationally award winning handcrafted working model steam engines.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out during this time. We find comfort in all your kind words and support.
We miss him already. Rest in Love Dad.
