Turned out better than I would have ever imagined. You certainly did an exceptional job. A super rare engine that you just don't see anymore.
Bravo!

Title: Early Jensen #5

I picked this up a while back. Been working on it here and there and finally got it finished. The sight glass holes in boiler had been stripped out and someone had soldered them closed. Done a little modifying to get a sight glass back on it. The bushings in top of boiler had been resoldered and one was broke loose again. Got all of them resoldered and fixed. It has the round hot plate heater in it that is still good. The smoke stack support was missing.  Made a new support, with new paint on it made the firebox look really bad so I did repaint firebox. The rest of the engine was just cleaned and polished to try and keep as much original as possible. If you notice this engine dosen't have a throttle valve on it. From what I can find the early engines didn't have them. The engine itself doesn't have mounting tabs on base. The screws go though the base itself. I'm not sure on year but thinking it was probably around 1933-1934? If someone know any thing different on year please let me know.
