Have had a few issues with getting this one to run properly and there is still some fettling to do, but we managed a half decent steam run today:

OK I got the colours as close as I could - Bit garish so hope you like it

Before THEN After

May be "garish" but I think you got a very close match to the original look

Reminds me of the special D8 from Wilesco (and yes I still need to get a picture taken of my Steampak...)

I've never seen one at these either. You did a fine job bringing it back up to snuff, it looks just fine now.

Nice clean up and it looks like it has a large burner.

Not too much resto with this one, it came in sound condition but missing its chimney and a bit cosmetically challenged:

I have used artistic licence on the new chimney, never seen a Steampak chimney before, I think it looks OK.  Tried to keep it fairly original but the engine pedestal paint had to be redone as did the firebox and burner, the latter needed some minor repairs but has been tested and works well.  I'm happy with the results:

If anyone knows anything at all about the Steampak brand please let me know - all I have learned so far is that it was  a British brand, they were made somewhere in the South coast area, maybe Southampton or Portsmouth?
