I thought it looked pretty good as a brass bell ... I had no idea how much detail was lost in the monotone, and now it looks FANTASTIC!!!

I thought she looked good in brass, but your wife really brought out the detail with the addition of paint.  She's a keeper (wife and fish maid!).

Hi,

My main interest is garden railways built to a scale of 16 mm = 1 ft.  We have a garden railway and a portable exhibition layout which is scenic and has model figures on it, some of these models are commercially made others are recycled mostly from charity shops; this is an example of one which started life as a brass bell.
