There was a time when a new Southbend Lathe included a casting kit for a 1/4 hp horizontal Sipp engine.

There are rumours that there is also a third poster, I have seen mention of it but never any indication of what it entailes.

Great posters!  Steampunk for sure - we don't need fancy electronics, computers, or internal combustion engines to get the job done.
We can build it all with a South Bend Lathe.

I must say, Jim, those are some fairly bizarre illustrations!

I wonder what the context was? (Check out that precarious passenger stair climb from Gate 1 to the Crossbow Concorde!)
