I'll be posting this in the classifieds here along with a few others.
Ebay is just robbing folks with their 13.9% listing fees.
Ouch.
-
Well may not be sold after all.
Shipping from USA to Germany is $166.00.
Ebay fees were $303.00
So, currently looking at $469.00 in fees.
We may cancel and I'll just relist outside of Ebay.
Any suggestions for shipping cheaper than $166 to germany?
Measurements are 18x19x24 at 23lbs.
Any ideas?

Märklin 16051 compound steam engine
These are no longer being produced.
The last one I found on Ebay listed for $2500.00 and was sold last year.
They rarely come up for sale.
Winning bidder will love this engine
Looks like it is brand new. I was told it had been run once. Burner trays look like they have never been used. Comes with all original packaging, manual, oil, wrench, funnel etc. This engine can be purchased on Ebay.
This is a very high quality German steam engine. Put into production briefly in the fall of 2004 by Marklin, the 16051 is a faithful reproduction of the old 4158 Compound engine. The Märklin steam machine from the 1930’s.
Specs
Horizontal machinery, high pressure and low pressure cylinder mounted in joint cylinder jacket. 2 massive flywheels with doubled string-run choke cam. Drop shaft, centrifugal regulator. Sheet iron foundation. Sheet brass boiler. Fire box with gallery rods on both sides.
Appliances: Steam dome with safety weight valve. Steam whistle, steam shut-off cock, three-way cock, water level indicator with discharge cock, manometer. Size: Height with smokestack approx. 34 cm / 13-3/8". Foundation approx. 37 cm x 37 cm / 14-9/16" x 14-9/16".
The Märklin 16051 is a reproduction of the Märklin 4158 Compound that was made from 1911 to 1939.
