Thank you, Nick. My only wish is for enclosed cabs. The shop sees all sorts of work from wood to engines and the roll up doors stay open in summer. Dusting and oiling is never ending and religious or the humidity starts taking a toll.

The shop I used to work at was throwing them out, I brought home a pallet of glass in a 1990 Toyota Celica. It took 10 years to find a use for them, but waste not want not.

The one next to my chair in the lounge is too small and the shelves are suffering
800mm wide 6mm thick glass deflecting 2.5 mm due to the heavy weight Aussie engines.

The only way to solve the work bench problem is to limit yourself to one bench/table. The more you have the more junk you pile up on them :D

The reservoir is simply for water to supply/fill the boiler via a manually operated feedpump which might not be visible in the photo...
In fact the more I study my own photos the more I realise what is NOT stored on those shelves!!!. All of my steam boat collection plus lots more locos and a few more very nice steam engines. More photos required!

I saw the windmill as well, but was thrown off the scent by the pair of shoes top left :)
