Nice heavy hauler. I also share your interest and have a few models in same scale, lots of videos on my YouTube channel but here is one that may interest you.
You bet I am ! ;D I'm a bit out of the hobby for a while now, It's nice to see that type of modelism again!

Thanks a lot for your kind comments guys!
Some years of racing RC and operating a RC crane (a real 25 tons though) probably give me some experience for driving a... RC truck ;)
Not any experience on driving real trucks but 25 years of work with them gave me the interest for them and for building that model.
Ironically, it's when machining parts for it and making research on the internet that I discovered the steam thing, and it was a revelation, either for the technical parts than the historical one, for toys, models, real ones... revealing a true passion for me.
So I have a big affection in many ways for this truck...
...could you load up one of those big rolls of sheet metal and deliver it to me here .... I have a couple of projects in mind, where a little of that could come in handy !!! ;c)
well, at around 12000 lbs for those little ones (biggest reach 55000 lbs...) I could load them up but not sure the truck would move around after... And I'm a bit affraid to scratch the paint... ::)

A truly fabulous big rig you've built there, and you operate it sooooooo well !
Great music for that video as well .... but say, as long as you're driving that truck around anyway, could you load up one of those big rolls of sheet metal and deliver it to me here .... I have a couple of projects in mind, where a little of that could come in handy !!! ;c)

Enjoyed that :)

I really was waiting for you to pickup those trailers, and then you just went and did it easy as... I really got to work on my own RC skills at some point.
Incredible model you built there, thanks for sharing !
-
Brilliant model. It must take a lot of skill to back onto two trailers... :)
Allan.

OH WOW! Now that's an impressive model! 8)
Really enjoyed watching you coupling/uncoupling the trailers

That's a great model - looks very realistic!
-

When I hit the "add attachment" button, it immediatly post the message instead of the attachment choice, any ideas of the problem ? I'm correctly log though!

Hi everyone,
My steam collection is not very impressive yet (some Wilesco, some Fleischmann, some Mamod..)but I will post some pics of them soon. By then, here's some of my other hobby. It's a 1:14 replica of a truck I made 6 years ago. No steam here, only electricity... The video don't show it like it is at the end, but give an idea of the functions (lights, sounds, pin in, pin out, etc.).
Hope you will enjoy ...
Hem... it seem I have some problems to link pics... will follow soon...
