Looks like it was built by a machinist to me.
And that they knew what they were doing.
You are going to need a large flywheel for sure.

While I'm not certain of the make ,I am sure someone here does.

This engine came from New Mexico so is probably made in the USA. It stands 9.5" tall and has a bore x stroke of approx. 1.5" x 1.5". It will not run on air as the valve gear and connecting rod are too heavy. I hope that with a flywheel it will run. The crankshaft diameter is .5".
I would love to know who made it and how old it might be.
