Anyone know how many 95Gs were built in total?
Nice find, Jack!

I believe the longer tube was likely done to get the condensate off the base as shown in Mike’s below, but for some reason mine is on a larger board than his and Rog’s and my setup doesn’t look as compact as their’s, so my long tube doesn’t make it to the edge of the board… Fun of collecting Jensens, they’re all different! :D

I didn't know about the drain tubes and I vaguely remember discussions about him signing some engines but forgot which and what.
I don't know if I'll keep it but it certainly is a cool piece. I may sell something else to keep this one for a while.
Thanks

Did some digging and Rog’s was #3, #18 went to Jim Huntley in the UK (he found it on ebay) and was painted black and had 220 volt heater, Gil has/had #6 and #25

I know the first 25 95’s were signed. They also had a shorter condensate drain tube.
Top is Rog’s (that he put a new re-painted firebox on) and below is mine with the longer tube. I am not sure what number Rog owned…

Thanks Nick.
I'm torn now to keep or sell it.
I have to sell some to keep funds for the hunt. It was really cool to find his signature on the bottom.
I think its the only engine I've aquired with his signature.

Neat find on the base, as for actual pricing in the past year, one sold for $1250 and another was for sale for 6 months before it finally went for $875. I don’t think I would let mine go for less than $1000

The plot thickens.
I was taking photos to post online and it is Signed by Tom Jensen.

Looks like I'll be keeping this one.
Wow

I figured it would be between $500 and $2000 but since we are in the Biden economy and with inflation the way it is, Nick is probably much more dead to right. :)
I've never sold a 95G so I have no real good way to determine value on it. Bruce is right too, I've pretty much bought and sold everything else in the Jensen world.

Gotta be worth at least 3 grand ;)

Jack , I would think that "YOU" are the foremost authority on the value of Jensen steam engines, as you probably sell/resell more Jensen's than Jensen Mfg. Does.😊👍

I was discussing this with a friend who wants to buy the Jensen #95G. Most of these are sold before they ever hit a forum or online. What do you guys think? What is the current market value?
