It really sounds nice Gil.
Great to hear it running.
It screams for a nice pair of custom chrome pipes.
Yes, Would look great with Chrome pipes!

Does the seller NOT offer a stand for these engines ? Seems like a fine way to make some extra money.
I asked about this.
They said it is in the works along with another upgrade - an electric starter.

Mine arrived in the mail today in Australia, very happy with mine, i will mill up a base for it and give it a go!
-
That little pup just screams to be installed in an RC scale ish Morgan three wheeler. A belt drive starter in the golf cart style, and you’d have a great power plant
-
That is a good idea. George is an artist with metal.
I wrote to Mona and she replied that upgrades will be available soon. The first 2 will be a base and starter motor. I dont know which comes first.
-
I hope so too, Mike!
I wrote to Mona at Stirlingkit to inquire about the base or stand it is mounted on in the videos on her website.
I may see if I can hire George to carve a base out of aluminum for me.
-
That is so frigg'in cool , I'm not a Harley guy...but I could go for one of those :D

Nice, Gil! I hope mine gets here soon.

Thanks, Arnold. It may be a while before I can set it up to run.
Most of my machine tools and equipment are in storage until after we move.

Wow - very nicely done - it's a miniature panhead motor!
What an excellent workmanship - I believe this will be my next order
- hope to see it on video soon, Gil
Congratulations Arnold :D

While it isn't quite complete it still appears as a bargain for the money.
From turning the flywheel by hand, I can say the compression is excellent.
-
I just took a peek at it.
Comes with an ignition system
no stand... needs fabrication
no battery box
And this bit of info...
