Thank you Classics! I'm still planning to turn the Eitech Ferris Wheel with the PM generator. With the 20 or 55 I can only run it for 15 minutes or so before the boiler runs low. Now it should run all afternoon by adding water as needed. The belting to the generator has to be dry and tight to turn the small PM pulley. I made a vid of the stretch in the cord while turning the generator hard with my 20 I believe. I'll post it if I still have it.

...I may have to make the work bench it's permanent location!
Please do!!!
I enjoy watching that beaut hauling...whatever you throw at it :)

Yes they are Bruce. I watched your little vid unboxing it. It's good scale and slick working. It makes it easier to slow down the hacksaws to a realistic speed. It would be fun to go to chain drive and see how much weight could be loaded on it. Sort of like the Bowman 110 or whatever that gear reduction model is. Someone on youtube used a can opener reduction drive to lift like 150lbs with a model steam engine. I like playing like that!

I never tire of seeing a #50 run Tim , you have it doing a bit of work which I always like to see. I also see one of Jins little gear reducers peeking out in the back right...marvelous little accessories aren't they .

I think that's a good idea Nick. My wife says "no steaming in the house" Although she liked the little brass wobbler from Jin, I used to run it on the coffee table on weekend mornings.
All is not lost though-if we get deep snow and below zero weather she may let me bring it in. So it's kinda like letting the camel get his nose under the tent...Lol!
I have had some pretty good disasters in the shop she's heard about so I kinda did myself in. The big battle was won rather easily when I bought it because she knew I wanted a 50 and was glad "we" got it.
Thx for watching buddy.

You could always move it into the house… dining room table… move the tv and watch the engine instead… ;) :D

One more video because my 50 has already been pulled back off the shelf. I may have to make the work bench it's permanent location!
