I crudely wired the motor and it works great after I oiled it. I will wire a 3 prong plug in.

The cord on this motor literally fell apart as the rubber/plastic insulation turned to dust.
Interestingly inside the motor, the cord is fine
. Anyhow, this is a metal cased motor, I am thinking that I should wire a 3 prong plug with ground. Do you all think it will be safe enough with ground?

That's if the motor still spins. I noticed the front bearing was dislodged, but  fixed that.
