Gil, not sure exactly why, but I have a soft spot for 50/51 Jensens, so have added this one to my small collection. I may turn the color scheme back to something similar to my 51 which appears to be of similar vintage.

So I was figuring it was 1960's but I am not sure. Would you say it is late 60's or not at all 60's and more like 1970's?

I really like the color combination. I thought about going back with the light blue green and salmon firebox but could not match it. So I opted for the 50's colors.
It turned out better than I expected. Certainly not original color but that can always be changed.

Hi Jack, Nicely done up #50.!
However it is not from 1960.
Remember it was light blue or blue green.
There were no brick fireboxes for the 50 in 1960 or 1961. (I have a 1961 #50)
1930's through the early to mid 1960's all had the tube site glass and flywheel was not red.
They also had solid wood bases with breadboard ends and a brass tag.

You have done a real nice job of giving it the "look" of a 1960 engine.
