Congratulations Doug!
A real beauty.

That's a sweet engine Doug. That would work nicely in a marine application.
Like a paddle wheel.

Sure is a very nice engine...
Congrats Doug!

Glad you like it, Doug!

This Heisler V-Twin model locomotive engine just arrived from the Office of Steam. I'm very pleased that Gil was willing to part with this beautiful scale steam engine. It is about 7" tall and has a reversing mechanism. It was a little sticky when I first tried it, but it probably had not been reversed in quite a while. Some writing on the bottom of the base says it was built in 1990. So, after a little lubrication and a little running, it now shifts fairly well and will only improve with more run time.
Research of this engine indicates that it is not a very common model engine, and I wonder if it was just built as a model engine for display or if it is something used by builders of scale locomotives, a hobby I know nothing about.
