Several years ago, Live Steam magazine did an article on Anton Bohaboy. I can try to track down the specific issue if it would help.

That is a Bohaboy design and I believe some of his products were cast in aluminum as well as bronze and iron.
I had an all bronze one just like it that had a 1"x 1" bore and stroke.

Did some searching and found some old literature that has picture of a Bohaboy engine that looks very similar. I also picked up two boilers with the engine, one is a Stuart 504, the other is a Bohaboy with a custom aluminum enclosure. Now that I have a direction to look, time for more research!

Picked this up at a car parts swap meet, can't find any info on the net. Base and uprights are aluminum, 3/4" bore and stroke. Came with a Stewart 504 boiler
Looks like a nicely built model engine.
Definitely shop built.
