My workhorse , A Jensen #55 , quite, smooth and runs at a very low pressure & rpm

More like clay...😄👍 I had plenty of of that on my hands when balling up the bodies and legs, actually fun to work with , you can get very creative with that stuff.

Re:"Can we place an order???" unfortunately no, although I originally had plans to make two of them, & have the materials to do so, and think I can make one much easier & better now...I've since moved on to another project.

Love your little hand made chickens, did you measure ahead of time that they would clear each other without snapping any heads off? :D
Also like the SPS take on the DC logo, very clever 8)

Not really...and it sort of became a concern once I got done drilling a hole through their butts, I tried to keep them under 1" OD but the necks got a bit long, you'll notice in the "spit" that they're staggered just a bit to keep the necks from hitting each other , but it worked out well , close but no cigar. Drilling the chickens out was probably the most nerve wracking part, there is absolutely no way to make a jig to hold these birds without ruining them, I tried clamping them in foam rubber in a vice , not good, I finally landed on mounting the drill bit in the lathe and free hand drilling them , the modeling clay is quite gummy and would try to Seize up around the bit, requiring many short probes and then retracting to clear the flutes in the drill bit.

Hello fellow steamers
this is a Replica of a Doll Co. toy chicken rotisserie, (Hühnerbraterei) it stands 9 1/4" tall (inc. base) it is made of sheet steel , the metal housing is 5" x 2" , has (2) "spits" made of brass to support the 4 handmade model art clay chickens, they look a bit funny but were copied as closely to the originals as possible. all three axles turn through roller ball bearings. the drive pulleys are spare Jensen #100 workshop tools that were modified for this purpose. has a copper smoke stack & a special SPS metal logo tag. the Oak plinth is 7" X 4" & the completed unit weighs 2.lbs 5 oz.
"THE BUILD"
This seemed like a fairly easy model to build (they all do !) I researched all the info I could glean about this model, there are none on youtube (until now) & just went by whatever seemed right & correct. started with some 20 ga. sheet metal & started with an outline and some metal forming (bending)

I erred and drilled the six rod holes in the wrong (re:reversed) spot , rather than start all over again, I filled in the holes in redrilled in the correct spot . trust me....would have been much quicker & easier to have started with a new piece.
