Charlie,
Thanks, I was hoping to get a hold of you this trip when I was down there, But I really didn't know what day we would be in Plano it could have been Friday, Saturday or Sunday, as we really didn't have a schedule.  Jack said you are very busy, but I was hoping the 3 of us could get together for a visit.

Next time for sure.

I am "semi-retired" and I work from home.

Unless I am at my Ranch, I am usually around the house.

I am still hoping to make it to Minnesota this year to visit Nick and attend one of your great shows.

Sorry I missed you.  Hopefully next time.

So I guess there is no reason to make any stops when I finally go visit Charlie?  ;)  :D

Definitely a good buy! Lineshafts are easily $20, dropping your engine down to $80, and it’s a very clean earlier engine  8)

A lot of those places are worth a stop solely for the entertainment value.  I found this in Amarillo, far from Plano and Charie.

I did go to Plano and had a very nice visit with Jack.

You were less than 10 minutes from my house Jim when you visited with Jack.

If you come down again, please contact me.  I would enjoy visiting with you and showing you my collection.

I know many are not a fan of Esbit, but if you get a nice day, take it outside and try the fuel tablets… The Wilesco fuel trays are designed to be slightly pulled out or pushed in changing the amount of air flow to the tablets allowing you to control the amount of flame/heat to the boiler.

That is clean, and no, for $100, you couldn't leave it there. Good grab.

Just completed a 3000 mile road trip from Minnesota to Texas and back.

Went to a bunch of Antique stores, Thrift stores, and Flea markets on the way down and on the way back.  The only somewhat worthwhile thing that I found in an antique store in Amarillo was this Wilesco D10 (older but in very nice condition).

Came with the Wilesco transmission, funnel and empty Esbit box.

For $100.00 I couldn't leave it there.
