Title: Re: Testing Jensen and Wilesco Boilers
Post by: D E Jones on April 16, 2022, 11:12:59 pm
I notice a lot of people rework and restore old Jensen and Wilesco boilers, so I assume that at least some of them test the things for safety purposes. I know that boilers are normally tested to twice their operating pressure , and I, myself have done so with a P M Research #1 boiler I built. I guess testing to twice operating pressure is the way to go. That being said, what is the max operating pressure for a Jensen 75 boiler?

I'm sorry I don't have the requested information , but having worked on many variations of both Jensen and Wilesco boilers I know for a fact that Jensen boilers are at least twice as strong as Wilesco  boilers , thickness, silver brazed...ect.😊👍
