Title: Re: Tornado hits St. Paul ?
Post by: Raphael on May 23, 2022, 01:44:16 pm
Bonjour,
Happy to learn that everyone is safe.
In France too, nature becomes crazy, with the violent storms, some regions have received hailstones larger than tennis balls which destroyed cars and roofs, not to mention power lines  :(

The power of Nature is astounding.

Praise God that no one was hurt!

Bruce, bad as it was, glad it wasn't worse and all souls are safe.  Same heavy winds passed through my town, but small change damage compared to yours.

Again, thank God it was not worse.

Hi Bruce, Looks like the good Lord took a liking to you and your family.

That no one in your home was injured is awesome!

It must have been a bit terrifying given the extreme sounds these things make.

Good luck with the clean up.

Gil

Must have been really scary when the tornado went through what with all the damage - glad you're all okay.

I've lived in this residence 35 yrs. & this is the biggest storm to have rolled through here since that time, not sure if it's been rated an official tornado yet by the weather bureau, but we were warned of one coming through St. Paul,
we have many days of clean up ahead of us & a repair To the garage roof where a 6" limb came through. we thank God to have been spared any worse damage & are very thankful that none of the family were injured, we had 3 adults & 4 grandchildren visiting at the time, the grandchildren were huddled inside an interior 12" Brick walled closet with the parents up against the outside closet doors protecting them. I was so proud of all of them, they all pitched in & helped for hours cleaning up much of the debris along with 3 of my wonderful neighbor's. myself & 1 of my neighbors worked for several hours on my yard alone to cut limbs to manageable sizes for the rest to pile up, the Decatur County highway dept. is sending trucks & workers tomorrow to help with tree/brush removal.
