I haven't ran mine yet I'm waiting on some Teflon material to arrive so I can machine some Teflon buttons for the piston pins

Never have got the hall sensor from Jin. So got to messing with it again. Don't understand what is going on with it but, I have found if I turn it on let it set for about 1 minute (not turning it nothing) then turn it I have spark and it will run. I can turn it off and start it right back up no problems. If it sets for 20-30 minutes no spark again. I have been talking to Gil and he is also having same issue with his. Anyone else having this issue?

That’s great news, Randy
Good!
I figured he would if you could catch his attention.

Jin is sending another hall sensor. Hope this will fix problems. Thanks Jin.

I probably wouldn't have gotten one if I hadn't won it on ebay at a very reasonable price. Glad I did, if I had paid 1500 for it I would probably be a little more upset about it. Don't get me wrong for the full price it is still a nice engine. I build model engines and I know the time it takes to build one. There is no way I could build it for that price. I have several of Jins engines and for the money I can't complain. Most all of them I have refitted parts on and fine tuned to get them to run better. But that's the difference in paying few hundred dollars or paying thousands of dollars for one.

Not for nothing, but I envy your courage trying the H75 engine. I just love it, but lack the courage to pull the trigger, grin.

Yeah. If you can’t raise Jin, email the service desk at stirlingkit, ask for a hall switch for that model. Provide a picture with an arrow if you can, to head off translation issues. She can probably get it and sell you one for peanuts.
Their parts catalog gets built out through exactly these kinds of requests, and stirlingkit has the most responsive, capable service desk.

I checked the hall sensor with ohms meter turning engine slowly. Could not get reading from it. So I'm assuming it is bad.

I believe that engine uses a magnetic trigger for the ignition. If so, unplug the sensor from the ignition box, Ana trip the sensor by turning the engine, while reading continuity across the wires. If “triggering” the sensor by turning the engine doesn’t close the circuit, the sensor is bad. That is more likely than the CDI box failing. Also, check the ground wire from ignition to the engine block is secure. Attempting to run them with no ground connected can burn up the ignition. Let us know what you find.

I just got in today one of Jins H75 engines. I got it to run one time. Now no spark. I've tried different new batteries of different brand think maybe I got bad batteries. Still no spark. I've checked power from battery pack to switch, checked switch all good. I'm assuming the ignition box has went out. Has anyone else had this problem? I have had same issue with a couple of the hit miss engines also. I got this engine off ebay at low price but still aggravates me it doesn't work. Right now it's just a expensive paper weight. Trying to contact Jin to see if he will send me a new ignition system for it.
