Yours is cute....Say hello to my little friend.

I replaced the bottom 4/5ths of the boiler
as it was very badly full of holes,  press
interference fit and soldered on the top
fifth (w/the mechanicals), and cladded it with
little sticks.  W/o the cladding it will not
get hot enough to run.  It is my best rescue.

I was recently able to buy a Lin Mar vertical engine and I have many Lin Mar engines on other forums and Ebay but I have never seen a Vertical Engine not even on TSB .

It even came with a small round tin which contained lumps of solid fuel of the Esbit variety.
