I would say the Stuart Turner No. 9 was first and they all seem to be variations of the Stuart designs.

Thanks, Brad, I really enjoyed that! Very sweet setup. That engine is such a nice design, and you've got the perfect boiler to run it. I've got a similar engine (see my avatar picture) though it's not a Bohaboy. I plan to do a post about it "one of these days." I've seen other engines very close to this one, though from different makers. Makes you wonder who copied who? Doesn't matter, it's a great design. Thanks again.

Adjusted the Anton Bohaboy engine and this is how it runs now on steam. I love the sound.
