Cheers guys.....Tommy it's still in route from China mate. Should be here mid Jan.

Nice engine Jim. While hex head bolts will give it more of an original look, it won't hide the
shiny look of fresh machining. You could paint it later. I think for a new engine the Allen heads
look fine, will be a lot easier to get a wrench into them rather than a open end around em.
That's just me.
Does it run?

Hi Jim, I have a couple of those (one for Mrs RedRyder).
I was very impressed with this engine and the fine workmanship.
While I won't be changing the bolts any time soon, I think yours will look great with proper hex headed bolts.

Keep in mind Microcosm sells the M2 and m3 screws with hex heads in whatever lengths you might need, while I have not made a lot of M2 threads, the 2-56 threads I made for my graham engines took more effort than I would like to admit, and that it would have been pretty nice to just buy haha!

Only engine I've bought this year was yesterday on eBay, one of Jin's S10's no one else bid on it and I got it very cheap.
Must say up front not a fan of those allen key bolt heads. I might be busy turning up a lot of brass hex headed bolts when it arrives.
