DW, Congrats! Nice model of a Canfield.
Rodnoc, Thanks for the Loctite info.

Loctite would be my first option to fix it.
680 is for bonding and is safe to 179.6 °F https://tinyurl.com/epwn7zv8
There are higher temperature Loctite products like….
609 bonding (300 °F) https://tinyurl.com/yc4b749u
660 bonding and gap filling (300 °F) https://tinyurl.com/ytevm9mr
….and others https://tinyurl.com/2p92rerp

Just picked up a Canfield. It is losing compression past the caps behind the valves. There was no type of seals (O-rings or copper crush washers). The brass bushings are pressed into the head. And will move in and out of the head as you tighten the caps. Please see picture. Thinking of removing the threaded bushing and using Loctite 680 for press fit. Let me know if you have any ideas. Looking at the picture of the valves. I'm not sure if it has ever been run.
Thanks
