Here’s my D21 having no trouble lighting a bulb with it.

With the PM Research generator you are definitely going to need to use resistors so you don’t blow them out. I’m not sure of the values. It varies depending upon what LEDs you use. You can find the information with a Google search. Some on Amazon come with them. The little generator on my Wilesco Showman’s engine doesn’t make that much current so I didn’t use resistors with those. What engine are you running it with? You should have no trouble lighting an incandescent bulb . If anything you should have trouble not burning it out. Make sure that your posts on the generator are vertical with one above the other. If they are beside each other it will not work properly. Good luck!

Below is a usb sting light and a power converter that you can wire to your generator. This will allow you to plug in any usb device you want to power!

If you would prefer to be able to run your own wires and lights, then you can plug this into the usb port and connect your wires that lead to the LED's. might take some experiementing, as I don't know if that might fry the LED might be worth a try: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V5ZL4P6/ref=sspa_dk_detail_5?pd_rd_i=B07V5ZL4P6&pd_rd_w=xGdo9&content-id=amzn1.sym.dd2c6db7-6626-466d-bf04-9570e69a7df0&pf_rd_p=dd2c6db7-6626-466d-bf04-9570e69a7df0&pf_rd_r=5D9SQ66VXMR0X1ZVJYX4&pd_rd_wg=f3wgQ&pd_rd_r=4a59ebbd-5d91-42cd-96bb-68756da84202&s=electronics&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExVzdIR1Y3UU5LM1pPJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzI0NTY1MlgwR1JLUVhRRlVYMiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMTg5NDc3WVdXRFgzNEpHMlBGJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfZGV0YWlsX3RoZW1hdGljJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1
This isnt "needed" but if your LED's are flashing off the generator, I can explain how to use these, might be worth trying without them and if it doesnt work out, then you can get them:

With the usb, it is hard to say how much juice you will have, but you will likely be able to power Red Green Blue (RGB) strips, and then you can select any color you like, (including white)

I want small, bright, white light bulbs , and be able to light several at one time. I noticed on another post, a Wilesco showmans engine illuminating as many as 70 led's. While I don't want to light that many, I would like to light maybe 10 or 12 at one time . I will be using a PM Research generator mostly.

What size do you want? (Physical size/dimensions) there are so many LED'S out there that if you define the size, color, power, then there is one that meets it.

What type of LED do we use with these small generators . I am still struggling with incandescent bulbs, and want to try LED lighting. Are they rated by voltage , or some other standard, and where is a good place to get them ?
