Wow , quite the watercraft you have there, looks like all the hard works already been done. A lot of kit for the money imho. I've been wanting such a vessel as this , but alas...the timing is not right for me right now.

Hi Gents,
For your consideration I have a Radio Controlled Live Steam Mississippi Stern Wheeler that has a hand made wooden Hull, Superstructure, and Stern Wheel. It measures 6 feet long by 15-1/2 inches wide, 2-1/2 feet tall to the top of the twin copper smoke stacks, with a 7 inch diameter Stern Wheel. It has two alcohol fired Stuart Turner 500 Water Tube Boilers and two Stuart S-50 horizontal side crank Engines that have custom fitted Stephenson Valvegear. Both Engines are synchronized with 90 degree crank phasing for self starting via a gear reduction train that also drives the cranks that run the connecting rods for the Stern Wheel. There are RC Servos and Linkages in the boat but no Controller.
At the Moment the boat is capable of floating and steaming, but the Superstructure needs to be finished and detailed before she can be considered "Done".
I am Asking $2,500 for this piece.
I'm selling because I have too much stuff and I want to downsize my collection so I'm getting rid of the biggest, bulkiest stuff I'll never have the time or ambition to work on or stuff that is redundant. Stay tuned for other Model and Toy Engines coming up for sale!
If you are seriously interested, please contact me at 518-495-4981. You can call or text. I'm available between 4 pm and 10 pm Weekdays, and pretty much all day on Weekends. I am located in Albany, New York.
Obviously with something this big and fragile, it goes without saying that there is No Shipping for this piece as it's pretty much guaranteed to be reduced to splinters by the time it arrives with how these shipping companies treat large packages.
