Nick - yours the second production - you have the nice faux rivets on the front of
the boiler (chimney house) - The litte Willi is no more available - I was at "Holzapfel
Company" last weekend - Michel still has a fantastic shop full of steam items, fittings,
raw material and finished engines - wow -

I went up to Manitoba a couple years ago for that one, it was built in the late ‘60’s, fired once or twice and only ever displayed on air at the Estevan show till late 80’s/early ‘90’s. I would really like to get up to a 1/4 or 1/3 scale, but if I’m smart I will stop there as the expenses get way too high on a full size… I know of plenty of shows and lots of friends that are short operators, so plenty of places to get running time without the cost… But then again, have been to a few friends houses that live out on gravel, and what fun it is to take their engine out on the road and thinking how fun it would be to do that any time…  :D  I guess if I got rid of all my toys I could probably buy an engine, truck/trailer and a shed to store them in 😂

I like that 2 inch Case! How long have you had it, and are you working your way up to a full size one?
I could see that happening very easily John 😉👍

That is cute, it's hard to believe something that small can actually function. I'm trying to figure out if it's running so fast that it looks to be barely oscillating & just an optical allusion, but by watching the gears I don't think so, surprised it can oscillate so slowly & still run.

No, it is running very fast, too fast for the camera

Little Willy looks like a scale model of a scale model  :D . Very nice!

I like your definition, and so true.
See it here together with a 3/4 Maxitrak

All Right!  Really, really cute!
My JRT's would have attacked it then run away.

Now, the backstory, please.
