Jim that's a nice video - and the D32 works very well.
The new model is top of the Wilesco line and I am sure
it will be a collectors item within a short time.
Congrats,
Arnold

This video shows the first steaming of my brand new Limited Edition Wilesco D32 twin cylinder stationary steam engine No. 366/500. In the video you can see water boiling in the boiler, the manometer, tachometer, feed water pump, output voltage from the generator, and lamps illuminated as the engine is running. While most of these engines including this one are designed to run on 220 V 50 cycles, in the video this machine is running nicely on 110 V 60 cycles. This eliminates the need for a Variac to tame down the excess heating capacity of the internal blanket heaters. I prefer the slower rpm speeds which are more prototypical, and less wear and tear on the machine while making it more fun to observe in operation. The feed water pump works well although the introduction of cold water into the boiler does require some time to bring the boiler pressure back up given the lower heater operating voltage. All is all, I am very pleased with the appearance and operation of this engine.
