Hi Wayne, what size do you have - simply measure the diameter of the boiler.
Normally they have a dark green, speckled gray color.
No heat resistant paint required.
Is there any color left on the base or is it completely gone?

Good morning Wayne,
I’m new to this forum and appreciate your thoughts. I own a Marklin 4106 that is missing its smokestack. The flue pipe has a diameter of 20 mm.
Thoughts about where to find the complete part on this forum or who could manufacture one for me?
The first picture on the forum on login shows 3 engines. The middle engine is a Marklin 4106 and clearly shows the smoke stack and top end piece I am missing.
Thanks in advance.

I bought a Marklin 4106 whose base and firebox were heavily
rusted with serious pitting. I do not expect to do a perfect
job, just a modest resto. I know the firebox paint (black)
should be fire resistant but is that needed for the base?
If anyone knows of a good green spray paint that would be
a close match for the green base let me know.
Thanks,
Wayne
