The only thing that would make this setup even better is for it to take up residence in the Temple of Steam :)

hello fellow steamers.
This is one of my more ambitious steam plants with many modifications, some of which are a cast iron generator with 4 1/2" axle (2)5 tiered threaded pulleys, on on/off switch, Jensen #25 with matching drive pully & (2) functioning oil cups on the axle stanchions, all 4 cast bases have been bead blasted & repainted matching Early Jensen blue. it has a riveted 3" boiler with custom made "SPS" firebox & chimney stand with an 700W immersion rod heater inserted in bottom rear & a PM research 3/16" globe valve in the front lower sight glass banjo (custom made) to assist in blow down of the sight glass & emptying the boiler when done for the day, a custom SPS banjo pressure gauge (0-30 psi) is mounted on top front of the boiler. the 2nd engine powers the windmill & has a stanchion mounted microcosm M-5 water pump pulling water from the 3" od X 3" water tower reservoir that is 100% copper (lacquered many times over) with brass water lines, we also have a PM research check valve on the boiler for added security. the windmill sits on a cast iron base & is 18" tall & has a hand painted fan blade & has a professionally machine printed Jensen logo (both sides) on the tail fin. the faux water pump below has roller ball bearings and can also power an accessory. this plant weighs 17.12 lbs., is on a 3/4" plinth 19"x16" & 18" high with many layers of polyurethane & a custom SPS brass tag. has a 9' 3/16 awg heavy duty grounded cord, a variac is needed for use.
