Bruce, you have made a gorgeous SV even better than the original from the #50...your machinist skills get better and better!
Rog
Thanks Rog, this was considerably easier to make than the one I copied from the 1950's s/v, Tom Sr. Had made the design simpler.

I have the S/V valve made & received back from the nickel platers. I went with a much stronger spring after realizing the 15 psi one wasn't going to cut it, now were up to 25 psi. one is an original Jensen #50 S/V with the more aggressive knurling.

Bruce, I am impressed with the breadth of your mods...especially love that pulley on the generator that allows basically an "idle" position. So cool!

Unbelievable and wonderful all wrapped up in a single post!
That is certainly a load of video content, but you can be sure that I'll be watching it all when I find the time. Probably need either a bowl of popcorn or a tall cool one for this show .... maybe both!?!?

Hi folks
I have been working on this plant, what I have been calling Jensen 20/20GW (working title)
This is a commissioned project (which I rarely do) with most of the parts being supplied by the customer.
If I've peeked your interest, feel welcome to follow along.
I received 3 Jensen #20's that needed the steam chest soldered back on & fully restored. Stripped bases, repainted, cross head slide cut away, an oiler installed on the cylinder & crosshead. One engine was already a single direction & I made the other one a single direction as well (they run much smoother) & fully functioning 3 ball governor (microcosm) chain driven.

Here are all 3 engine's pretty much completed.

Twin Jensen #15 set up (forward facing)

Twin Jensen #15 set up reversed & likely the way it will be mounted.

This plant will have a 5"x 9.5" riveted boiler with Jensen factory built firebox, chimney stand & chimney. it will have a working dbl waterpump (microcosm P-71), and windmill. The final arrangement is taking shape but not set in stone yet. More to come as I make significant progress.
