I've realised that this particular thread is not really the best place to show progress on the railway as it was started to show the first circuit so I'm going to start a part 2 thread to continue the story.

Here are some progress pictures as mentioned ....
An overall view of the layout in the garden.
The video was made on the outside circuit when the layout was one circuit and a passing loop.
What I've done here is to convert the passing loop into an inner circuit. Now that there are two crossovers I have the potential to run one train over a longer distance using both inner and outer circuits or I can run two trains simultaneously.

Thank you all for the nice comments !
I'm glad you enjoyed the ride :)
The loco I used to propel the camera wagon is a battery powered Feanor diesel which is an IP Engineering kit.
I'm planning to make a further video now that the line has been developed further but I'm preparing to post some progress pictures in the meantime.

Stevie, wonderful ride...loved the substantial track bed and the garden growth throughout....and this is the "first" circuit!!!!!!!
Well done, look forward to future expansions.

Nice, long railway. Is the loco electric?

Well done. Thank you for sharing your railway with us.
It was an excellent ride..!!

That was a very smooth & stable run, very nice.

Looks like a nice long smooth run through the garden. The bridge over the pond really is good looking I thought - well done!
-
It's very prototypical. Leaves on the line are a major headache on the full size railway in the UK :D
-
Well yes, thanks for the ride!
Looks like a whole lot of flower petal detritus along the line ..... how nice!!!

This is a video I made after completing the track laying of the first circuit of my railway.
I hope you like it :)
