Beautiful piece of history!!!

Time well spent, in my opinion. Looks great!

Great score, Arnold! It's certainly a beauty, and worthy to stand alongside it's horizontal companion.
(Many of the parts look strangely familiar to me... ;) )

Exactly - I had to cut off the blocked, calcified and corroded drain cock with the hacksaw.
Made a threaded bushing and soldered to the boiler. Then I restored the drain cock and
soldered a new thread BA 4 to it. Now it is perfect working - but 3 hours labor...
Arnold
that really looked bad:

now fully working and original:

What a nice find! Those two need to always stay together.

That is a lovely plant Arnold, now you have a pair of really nice steam plants, looking forward to the video.

Got a very nice Doll Ship's engine 351/4 from a german auction
at a very reasonable price. It arrived very well and careful packed - what
is not often seen. I only had to seal the sight glas and replace two handles.
Also a bit of cleaning and oiling and then I could make a life steam test.
The sound of the parallel twin is great and I like very much the vertical
boiler. Arnold ;D
