Hey Nick, I did it. 2oz is the right weight after cutting the slot in the center. Used JB Weld to hold nut in place. Found convincing thumb screw at The Depot. Thanks for the tip.

A fishing disc sinker painted black is your best option, not easy to find an original… take the eyelet off and drill a hole through it to be used like the original
