Thanks folks, I think I got really lucky on my setup this time & just got the perfect throttle set, Jensen's are not known for precision throttle placement 😀

Soooooo......slow I almost fell asleep watching it - very hypnotic. Well done Bruce!

That is awesome!! Somewhere I have a thread challenging others to go slow, but I think I was only around 30 RPM’s…

Bruce, you might have the record for slow operation of a 55 (or maybe any engine). Love the look of the Ertl pieces going thru their motions.

Very sweet slow runner. I'd bet the two flywheels on
the pump also contributes to the smooth slow run.
Well done,
Wayne
I'm positive they do .

Super slow and smooth.
Very well done, Bruce...!!

No doubt that the light resistance of the Ertl toy is helping maintain the slow steady pace, but the four power pulses per revolution of the Jensen #55 is really the cat's meow (may your pooch forgive me) of the steady application of power.
I really love my 55's!!!

Just tinkering around with the "55" and without much effort got this Jensen 55 going about 16 rpm, I believe its helped in its regulation by the Ertl toy.
