that is a quality looking bit of kit there Jim. I probably wouldn't have noticed the enclosed gearbox on the governor till Paula mentioned it, but I really like that as well.

Jim, that is impressive setup! [attachimg=1] I really like the litho plate on the wood plinth.

I also like the little enclosed gearbox to run the governor.

No doubt that impressive boiler will have it's work cut out for it!

I'm finishing up plumbing design and installation on this large twin cylinder Bing marine engine from 1909-12. It came to me without its original boiler and base. I mated the engine with a large boiler and installed both on a wood plinth with a tin litho sheet under the engine. The video shows it running on air.
