In my opinion, you should either ignore him altogether
Or....
As Charlie said, Tell him to pound sand.

The nerve of some sellers is disheartening.
I understand you want all potential buyers of
this seller's items to know he is problematic
and unethical.
On the other hand, is it worth risking EBAY
trouble over this issue? You cannot count on
EBAY to do the right thing and, instead, give
you a hard time.
To be honest, I have difficulty letting go of
the times I've been screwed.

"To be honest, I have difficulty letting go of

My sentiments exactly, Ebay hosed me over but good, they're demise is my wish!
Tommy, the fact that he is coming to you for relief is oh sooo sweet, I read your feedback & it seemed accurate from what you've described.
-
If you feel that your original feedback was spot on given the situation, then I'd leave it as is and tell him that feedback accurately reflects his dealings with you.
However, if in retrospect, now that you've had time to really think about the issue, you now feel that your feedback was perhaps too harsh, or maybe not harsh enough, well then here's your chance to rectify that issue!

This morning in my Emails was one from eBay notifying me that the seller of the D430 and horses,
(That's the seller from another posting, I got hosed, no money but no item either) well he is
requesting that I revise my feedback towards him for reason marked, other.
I'm thinking of asking him if I was to easy on him. Maybe he want's me to lie and say how wonderful
the experience was. I have until 2-6-2024 to reply.
I'm open to suggestions. This should be fun.
