That Plank is one beautiful engine. Is that German?

From Wiki: "Ernst Plank was a German manufacturing company. Started in 1866 and named after its founder the company initially built toy steam engines and magic lanterns at Hochfederstrasse 40 in Nuremberg. Ernst Plank was one of the first companies to produce toy steam engines and became famous for its copper and tin toys."

Ah .... the Wings of Steam ... I've always loved the winged EP badge!

Don't believe I've ever seen a turbine like that one, fully enclosed boiler and deep cylindrical housing on that turbine, suggesting multiple blades, or at least wide paddles?!?!

The conventional piston steamer ain't none too shabby either!!!    ;c)

Very NICE!!!

Some beautiful Plank Engines Jim. Planks have the best looking tile lithograph bases.
I would have loved to have seen them when they were new.

I've been overwhelmed lately with travel, medical stuff, a cold, etc. but here is my first GPU table featuring my Plank engines.
