Chris:
So glad you could make it to the show.
Thanks for posting the pictures and for participating in GPU 2024.

Stoker, I put a chain drive on the D22, so it has plenty of power with no spring belt slip.
It would have been more than the other Wilesco engines, I'm sure. I'll dyno it and get definitive numbers.
Woe, thanks! I don't like idling engines, so I always have them driving accessories. 😉

My sentiments exactly 😊

My Mamod Centurion performed the worst 😂

Aw don't tell me that.
Chris, those are a couple of nice saws you have there.
-
Neat sawmill!

We dyno’d quite a few engines late last night! :D The Wilesco tractor and roller had the highest numbers by a long shot.
Hard to believe that those two mobiles would provide more output drive than that D-22.
Tell me it ain't so!?!?
We didn’t run that, 2 Jensen 75’s and a Mamod SE3 that are well play worn. My Mamod Centurion performed the worst 😂

The saw mill is great! I built a 1 inch model years ago to run off my Case traction engine.

To get extra long running times on my D22, I hooked up this loco feed pump to the boiler drain, works great. I made the feed bowl from a copper pipe tap, a Wilesco base, and an Aquarium air valve.

Saint Paul Steam, yes the sawmill is 3D printed by a someone in the UK. He did a great job. I also ordered the heavy hauler wagon.
Here is the dyno I built. I painted it up for the show. I use brass bolts so you can breadboard the connections with alligator clips.
Indeed my Wilesco Steam Locomobile - D430 brings in impressive numbers especially since I replaced the esbit burner with a spirit burner.

Heeey...I like that saw mill, never seen one like that before, is it 3D printed ?

This weekend I went to the show that Nick told me about and had a great time. I brought a saw mill, saw table and a dyno.
